The R&D Design of NODRI covers general, hull, machinery & piping, electrical, outfitting (including ventilation and interior outfitting), painting, etc. Our designers are fully experienced in designing all kinds of ships, such as chemical tanker, small size LNG cargo ship, bulk carrier, oil tanker, multi-purpose vessel, container ship, engineering ship, offshore auxiliary vessel, offshore platform and so on. Especially in detail design and production design, relying on powerful strength and tenet of serving client, it will provide whole process service anyway and anytime during the whole production process, to reach the best combination of cost, quality, benefit and efficiency.

Development Design

When receiving the design specifications from ship owners, conduct the conceptual design and basic design service for ship owner, and finally provide ship contract, technical material and basic design drawings.

Detail Design

Based on basic design drawings, according to the principle of functionality, safety, economy and manufacturability to complete the detail design drawings, reflect the specific information of the vessel and equipment and the shipyard standard. With regard to the supplement and refinement of drawings, send respectively for ship owner and classification society’s approval.

Production Design

Based on the specific conditions of shipyard facilities and according to the modern ship building model, using the advanced 3D design software, such as the Tribon M3, Aveav Marine to do the 3D modeling design for the whole vessel, and provide purchasing list, related information & documentation and construction drawings.
